Chris, Managing Director and Chartered Fellow CIPD
Chris is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
With a career spanning over 43 years, Chris has held many senior operational and HR positions in the private, not for profit and public sectors and holds Diplomas in both Management and HR.

Clive Thorp Associate H&S Consultant, IOSH Technical Member, NEBOSH General Certificate, MSc
Clive set up CT Health & Safety with the belief that integrating health and safety into workplaces would deliver organisational objectives as well as legal and moral obligations under health and safety law.
Having spent a significant number of years as a senior operational manager, Clive found that balancing organisational objectives with various performance targets, while being legally responsible for staff, customer, and visitor safety, was unrealistic. He realised that the main issue was the need for suitable systems as people would follow instructions. In other words, systems and behaviours needed to be merged. This is where CT H&S was born.
In his spare time, Clive runs the Dorset Branch of Southwest Fishing for Life on a voluntary basis, which provides free fishing to people going through, or having been through, breast cancer.
